Ascolta la Mamma is a space not just to speak, but to truly listen to nature. This immersive, ephemeral installation invites visitors into a 5m² cube surrounded by vertical plant panels and jungle sounds, where they can share emotions with a symbolic representation of Mother Nature. A projected face reacts to their presence, offering comfort and reflection, while XR glasses reveal the interconnectedness of all life—plants, insects, humans, and technology—as one family. Outside, a dynamic map illustrates the environmental impact of human presence, reinforcing the message: “This connects us, do not destroy it.”

The projection and interactivity of the space are crafted by Cris Olmedo, who works with TouchDesigner to create the mapping and the plants’ interactivity. Additionally, Cris incorporates generative music and AI to enhance the immersive atmosphere, weaving sound and technology into the emotional and reflective experience.
